billyboy Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 Best laugh i had was when I asked Chris for twenty quid for a gallon of optimax and he was gonna give me it.
andy Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 << Thanks for that, no I wasnt an offender but if it comes to that let he who is free from sin cast the first stone. Your not coming on the next run? Why? because I stated my opinion to someone who stated thiers? Now your going to say, "Here we go again, we dont need this on Scottish Scoobies...." I have never started a fight online, and I have never posted goading people, on the contrary I have tried to solve matters on more than more occassion when its got silly. Im not going to take a huff, and I certainly wont be apopogising, I talk straight and shoot from the hip, if you want to take this further then PM me and we can talk privately. >> I'm not going to say "We don't need this etc etc" because I don't consider myself enough of a participant in the community either online or offline to do so. I've paid my dues and carry my SIDC stickers with pride as I see a great side to this community - the flashes, the waves etc. I'd love to get more involved - particularly in charity events, but antagonism just puts me right off. I'm here for fun, nowt else.
wilky Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 Fairs fair mate, I can assure you there was only frustration at the time but in retrospect I can see your point. No harm done, if you ever see me or the Millenium falcon say hello, or if you need a hand to dig your car out of the snow all you have to do is ask. Callum W
micra_wrc Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 Karps, although the pics that Swiggi took got wiped out, his freelance photographer was snapping away. he has them and should be available on his site once he has doctored & uploaded them. Imy
toby69 Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 << Hi Toby69. How's the bike going? See u've still got the Golden Wheels pics as ur avatar - that was one nice scoob Glad i was nice and dry in my car yesterday, lol. I saw the bikes coming the other way, and thought glad that aint me getting wet! >> Hi Miss Scooby, The bike is going fine thanks, well apart from the odd electrical problem! Yeah I miss my old scooby, she was a good one. I'll never be able to replace her but seeing and hearing about 30 scoobs go past has made me think about getting another one maybe sooner than I had planned I didn't get too wet on Sunday, but going round a corner nearer Keith and suddenly finding 2" of snow on the road was rather scarey!!! lets just say I needed a change of underware when I got home

toby69 Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Hi johnnyR6 I've got a 94 Honda Fireblade, It's getting a bit old now but still a lot of fun I've had it about 18 months and only done about 7000 miles so still getting to know it. Did my first track day on it at Knockhill last month and had a wee off at the hairpin opps! Didn't do a lot of damage though Funny really the very first track day I did in the scoob I spun off at the same place! So what you got? Nice pics there Sheep
micra_wrc Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 sheep, nice pics. chris, I didnt get any pics of you in your racing suit. am gutted Imy
johnnyr6 Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 At the mo i'm in the middle of building a gsxr 600, i sold my R6 to buy the scoob but i miss the bike so i got the chance of the gsxr which the owner had dropped for a price i couldn't refuse. It'll do me for playing about on.
zeolite Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 Oh my word!!! You stopped in Glenkindie! I used to live just outside there and they probably haven't had an event like that since I had a biker rally in my garden. Did anyone interact with the locals? "Aye aye min. Fit are a those cars doin aboot here the dae?" How did you enjoy the Kildrummy hairpins then? Should try them in an 325 BMW Alpina in 20cm of snow. Really sorry that I missed it now.
sheep Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 First time i had been on the roads up there but they were amazing. In the picture we are waiting for one of the gumballers filling up with go go juice. Whilst we were standing there on of the locals drove past and asked if we were taking part in a rally.
