andy_robertson Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 some people seem to think they get a scooby they become ace drivers and get too cocky in their own ability! some people just dont deserve to have a license pity innocent folk have to suffer

imprezapete Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 I dont think it gives us scooby drivers too bad a name, more all high performance car drivers. Agreed the guys was a 'insert name of choose', what ever jail sentence he gets he deserves. But if I was him I couldn't live with the guilt of killing people. Very sad to hear about
Gumball Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 30 year old pipe BLOWER more like. In a 30mph zone?? what was he thinking of??? sad story for the victims and their families.
andy Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 << But I was him I couldn't live with the guilt of killing people. >> Many years ago, my uncle was driving along Anderson Drive in Aberdeen when he hit and killed a cyclist. Turned out the cyclist had been stung in the eye by a wasp which caused him to swerve in front of my uncle. Although it wasn't his fault, the thought that he'd killed somebody (he was a fireman at the time and in the business of saving lives) destroyed him. Turned to the booze and it almost killed him.

scott_coull Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Happened about 1 mile from where I live. It was a P1 that was involved. Just makes you think what can happen when having a bit of fun......
sheep Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Its not fun doing 85 in a 30 zone, its feckin stupid!
zeolite Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I saw the damaged wall (I live a couple of miles away) and I couldn't figure out what happened. The people in the house must have got a hell of a fright too.
