Speed camera on A89 Newbridge - am i ok???

Got flashed tonight on the A89 coming back from Edinburgh. The camera is located on the eastbound side of the road about a mile back from the newbridge roundabout.

It was pointing towards me - i was doing about 55 in a 40 limit (annoying thing is i've known it was there for years!!!)

The road isn't a dual carraigeway - just one lane eastbound and one westbound. But the slash-marks on the road were painted on both lanes.

am i ok or should i put the scoob up for sale!

fixed camera facing towards you on the other side of the rd?

im afraid that the government have missed an opportunity to make 60notes.

this is down to the fact that as there is a european court of human rights etc etc, you cannot be prosecuted.

basically, you could have been out with a tall dark handsome man, after telling the missus you were going to the shop for milk............................................

its not for them to drop you in it, and hence you can only get done if you drive past and away from it.

hope this helps? excuse my example, im sure you werent with the above named anyway?face-icon-small-wink.gif

I always make that one flash - and then look in my mirror to see all the people passing it brake even more face-icon-small-happy.gif

If you are driving towards Broxburn it's fine if it flashes....
