Nelsdir Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Having been scoobyless for 3 wks after selling the RB5 picked up this wee stoater tonight 98 STi IV wagon pretty standard except for - induction kit, Baily d/v (ppssshhhtttt), lightened flywheel, Eibach springs and Bilstein dampers. Full Samcos, full decat and Ninja backbox. Stealth Scooby Neil

robinh20mrv Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 so why do you want me to go to port seaton with you calum? the post man has been from the usa!!!
IanJ Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Very nice Neil. Did you get that from down silverstone way?
dave_morgan Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Nice motor. Are you sure it's not a V5 though. It's a face lift bumper ?? (but not headlights ) Dave
Nelsdir Posted March 8, 2005 Author Posted March 8, 2005 Thanks for the comments chaps. Dave - it has had a V5 front bumper put on it. IanJ - I think it originally came from down there - some place called Option Motorsport used to do the work on it I believe. Compared to the RB5 its like night and day - goes like the clappers Having been driving the wifes' Picasso for three weeks it'll take a couple of days to get used to the fact that I can actually overtake something on the roads!! Where do the Falkirk/Stirling guys get their Millers/NF from?? Coming soon to a meet near you... Neil
dave_morgan Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 There used to be a garage in Falkirk called Outrun, who sold Millers stuff, but I don't know what happened to them as I've been trying to get hold of them for a while and the numbers just ring out. Don't know if anyone knows more about them ?? Dave
dougster Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Nice wagon but it's a shame it aint white!! (White is the fastest you know!! ) Good luck and I'll see you soon!
IanJ Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Yip thats the one Neil. Very nice. Lots of history and well looked after from what i could gather (Almost went down to it myself, but the WRX i ended up with was too much of a bargain to turn down and on my doorstep!) If you are stuck for Miller OB. The wee car parts shop in Larbert usually has some in stock (not the cheapest). Failing that I am in Aberdeen and can pick some up here for you if any of the locals can give me a pointer (Jools?)
WRC No 1 Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 good to see another nice looking wagon on the road wullie
Nelsdir Posted March 8, 2005 Author Posted March 8, 2005 Ian, is that the one on the main st. on the left headin toward the mini-roundabout? Don't know many others in the metropolis that is Larbert (even though I only stay 1.5 miles from it !!) I'll give them a try. Cheer, Neil
