johns Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 Details have just been announced for the Isle of Man 2003 event in September this year. It will be for many car clubs, so places will be limited, and allocated on a first come first served basis. The price is a little more than we paid last year (which everyone will agree was superb value for money), but includes some different events to do. The full details are listed in an e-mail attachment which I was sent (364Kb), which I'll happily e-mail to anyone that requests it. Summary info: 18th - 22nd September Ferry Travel from the mainland Welcome Reception Discover the Druidale Trail Gala Dinner evening Gaiety Theatre Evening Drive the TT Mountain Course (closed for our exclusive use of course ) Ferry Travel home All hotels, and many meals included £365 per person, based on two people sharing. John
paul n Posted March 4, 2003 Author Posted March 4, 2003 John Brilliant thanks for the info, mailed you for details Many Thanks Paul & Debbie
heazille Posted March 28, 2003 Posted March 28, 2003 Hi Guys & Gals, Just a quick update on the Manx Classic 2003. I have just spoken to FAD Promotions and they have told me that the response from the SUBARU crowd has been far better than they thought and so far outnumber the enquirys from all the other invited clubs put together!. So the moral is! If you have thought about coming over but not booked it yet GET CRACKING!! or be dissapointed Ta Ta Richard XMN555 Isle of Man
heazille Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 Its me again!! Any of you local guys & gals on the island wanting to join in the action in september, I now have a price! You know where i am, so come and see me Ta Ta Richard
paul n Posted May 6, 2003 Author Posted May 6, 2003 Hi All Debbie was looking at the booking confirmation last night and noticed that we were booked up for August not September! I had checked ferry times, dates, hotels, but in all the exitement had not checked the month, . phoned Magic Holidays and they are sending me a new confirmation sheet, I am told that the correct bookings were made it was just the confirmation that was wrong, probably a one off but may be an idea to check. Cheers Paul
heazille Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 Tragic Holidays & The Steam Racket making mistakes!! Never! See you in SEPTEMBER Ta Ta Richard XMN555 Isle of Man
heazille Posted May 22, 2003 Posted May 22, 2003 Ok Guys, Lets have a head count! Whos coming over in September? Ta Ta Richard Ex XMN555 Soon to be NMN555
Andrew Posted May 22, 2003 Posted May 22, 2003 I'll be there. Tell me, is Optimax readily available over there or should I bring some octane booster?
heazille Posted May 23, 2003 Posted May 23, 2003 Optimax is not available anywhere on the island!. However a mighty fine selection of Shell Super unleaded is available, (at my petrol station in Onchan, naturaly) As for Octane Booster, i should have some my self to sell, (Come on Scoobyworld, the cheque was cashed weeks ago!!!) I might even have my new beastie by then. Ta Ta Richard NMN555 (soon!)
heazille Posted May 23, 2003 Posted May 23, 2003 Sorry it's NOT Scoobyworld but someone else, (you know who you are!) My apologies, (but it was late and i do start earlier than some of you guys!) Ta Ta Richard Isle of Man
paul n Posted May 23, 2003 Author Posted May 23, 2003 Richard I will be there with Debbie my wife, can't wait Cheers Paul
kipper Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 how could i have missed this thread I'll be there with the wife if i can sort out some accomadation
heazille Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 I have got room for a tent in the garden!!! There will be plenty of accomodation, i believe that the number of hotels is limited by FAD, this is to enable them to put all similar cars into the same hotels, i think SIDC is earmarked for the Gala Hotel (Stakis/Hilton or whatever else its called this week!) right on the prom and not to bad I will check and confirm after TT Got 15,000 bikes to fill up (hopefuly all will come and see me & Margy) Ta Ta A tired Richard Isle of Man Soooooooon to be NMN555
