scuba dou Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Gauging interest for the above in the Aberdeenshire area, weather dependant of course. 2 options to consider folks; 1) We could head somewhere out remote-ish for a lunch stop and then back home toward Abz or 2) Out for a run without the lunch doing a suitable loop of county roads. I would prefer option 1 myself, so let?s gauge the interest and I?ll make plans as required from there. Also planning a Karting event soon in Abz also so perhaps you let me know who would be interested in that as well; perhaps even instead of option 1 and option 2 above. At least we would not have the weather to contend with, as it?s an indoor track. Lets call the Karting option 3 and we would need min 18 & max 24 drivers for a couple of hrs hard work. Please keep reply?s short and sweet. If there is interest, the finer detail will be sorted out there after
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Cannot make the run due to a wedding but up for option 3 (karting)
Ali C Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Jools, I'd be up for karting. Also up for a run anytime - so long as the snow is not too deep.
sarahbee Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Sounds good Jools - Option 1 The car could do with a good run since it has been locked up in a garage and not used for over a week now! Sarah
johns Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Options 1 and 3 for me please, though I'll need to double check the diary for the 6th.
Iaing Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Am up for options 1 & 3 too, provided its not too early a start on the Sunday as I work Saturday nights. Iain
WUZ Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Have to pull out as I won't be back from the US until Sunday afternoon Russell
Russs Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 If you head as far south as Perth, you'll be in for some real competition Check the MLR
scuba dou Posted January 30, 2005 Author Posted January 30, 2005 Russs, More info required can't see anything? Be good to have a joint meet/run though We should do the same for a karting event as well sometime. We have a lot of friends (and members) from the Scottish Elise group that we see from time to time. All good fun and no one gets into the stigma of my car is better than yours
