johns Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Saturday 5th March from 1pm to 5pm (not an early start this time ). Costs not confirmed yet, as KH have substantially increased insurance premiums to pay this year, but hoping to be about £50 for SIDC members (special winter rates), and about £57 - £60 for non-members. Will hopefully be able to confirm the date and prices within the next couple of days, so keep your diary clear! Cheers John

st3ph3n Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Hey guys. Just paid for my membership and the trackday. Hopefully see you all there, and around the forum too. I'll add it to my daily rota of sites to visit. I've maybe spoken to some of you on the other set of forums, and I've been dealing with the always very helpful Jamie who's getting me a prodrive gearknob. I've never done a trackday before, really looking forward to hopefully the first of many. Can we bring along passengers/mates/victims, and do they have to pay? None of them will get to drive my baby of course. That's just for me. Stephen
jamie_wood Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Welcome matey First of many posts I hope!! You can bring anyone you like to the track day. They need to sign on and get a helmet from the office, but its all free Lets hope your Gear Knob comes before that though!!! Take it you got my mail
sti-zlv Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Thats me just paid for the trackday, missed them last year so got in early this time. looking forward to it Matt
st3ph3n Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I've lined up a couple of willing victims, I mean participants, to tag along for the afternoon. A video camera too. One of my mates recently picked up a WRX too (after I gave him a lift in mine he was hooked), but he's taking a bit of convincing to bring the car for some track day action.
