I can't see why a wee bit of wind and rain should keep people away. If I'd been using the bike I would have given it a miss, but I'm using my comfortable warm car, so I'll be there. (I must remember to record Stargate SG1)

"Widespread gales are expected to develop throughout Scotland through Tuesday afternoon and evening. These gales will persist overnight and will cause disruption to the transport network. These conditions will make driving difficult for all road users, in particular High Sided Vehicles, Heavy Goods Vehicles and Motorcycles. Driving conditions will become dangerous with High Sided Vehicles at risk of being overturned, especially if unladen. Motorists are advised to drive with extreme caution."

I wouldn't imagine a car being warm and comfy with an artic on its roof!!!!!!face-icon-small-shocked.gif

Be careful all that decide to attend.

I always drive with extreme caution. Thats what the turbo boost button is for ......... to get past the high-siders before they fall over. I seen a van topple over on the flyover at the airport.

That doesn't happen very often does it ?? It's certainly howling here. One of my workmates reckoned he'd be ok to get home on his bike tonight (he's from Fife), and was back in the car park within a few minutes !!

Good night to record some high speed runs I supose, if you can find a road with a direct tail wind face-icon-small-wink.gifface-icon-small-happy.gif (a private road obviously !!)
