martinl Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Is Miller Oils in Aberdeen still cheap for 10 bottles of octane booster???
scuba dou Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Myself and BKS normally get it for 20 quid a box from a local contact we have It might have gone up since the new year, I last bought 4 boxes in Oct. Give us a shout when you get home. I?ll be back on the 19th.
GrantyBoy Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 That sounds like a good deal. Any chance you can get me those prices Jools?
scuba dou Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 If people post up what amount they would be interested in we can get a local group buy on the go I would think. As mentioned earlier BKS and I were buying in bulk, several boxes at a time. I?m just getting BKS to get me the details I need and I?ll be calling folks I know to chase some other Miller bits and bobs I am looking for one of the Scooby lads.
GrantyBoy Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 I'll be looking to purchase a few boxs as well shortly as I'm out. Maybe a local GB would be a good idea
martinl Posted January 6, 2005 Author Posted January 6, 2005 Sounds good to me, I'm up for a group buy.
Carl Davey Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Looks like Andy could be mapping for Octane Booster afterall. Count me in chaps.
WUZ Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 OK! OK! - I'll take 2 boxes as well! Normally I can only get it for £24 so I'll take 2 boxes at £20 a box! Russell
scuba dou Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Ok, I can get a deal on the Miller OB at £20.60 per box. Let me know what we need and I will work out what we can do for sure. I am not home till the 18th/19th Jan, so we are talking about getting this towards the last week of Jan I would guess. I know Dougster wants some stuff, so ideas on getting it to Glasgow could help, if he goes ahead. I could well be passing that way on or around the 29th Jan myself as the car will be ready to come home from RCM at that time and could drop goods off then, but the car is going via flat bed truck to RCM over the next week, so I won?t be down that way as early as I had hoped. If we have demand for this then I would prefer cash or cheque up front before hand. I would plan to go and pick up the order on the 24th Jan. So list could be so far, with I guess a couple of boxes each to start with??? Jools Martin Wuz Grant Carl Dougster Let me know
WUZ Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 YESSIREE! 2 boxes please Russell (still offshore until the 26th Jools, but you know I'm good for it!)
scuba dou Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Jools 2 boxes Martin 2 boxes Wuz 2 boxes Carl 2 boxes Dougster Grant
GrantyBoy Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 2 boxes for me too I'll pay for Russell if you need the cash upfront for this as he's offshore, Wuz can sort me out later.
scuba dou Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Jools 2 boxes Martin 2 boxes Wuz 2 boxes Carl 2 boxes Grant 2 boxes I?ll get this sorted when I get home and we can sort out the dosh at the time.
dougster Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 I need the oil before any petrol goes in Jools!! Any word on that as the car goes in for a s*** load of work as soon as I have all neccessary parts and fluids.
martinl Posted January 12, 2005 Author Posted January 12, 2005 Cheers Jools. 14 days and I'm out a here.
scuba dou Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Dougster, I thought you had dropped off the side of the planet bud. Sent you a PM on the 7th regarding prices, or at least I think I did It shows up in my sent box like this. See below..... Date Posted: Jan/07/2005 3:45 PM Dougster, Got a price today for you. For the CRX 75W/90 gear oil it is £33.79 per 5 ltrs. For the OB they want £20.60 per box. How does that compare? BTW Prices include the vat. Regards, Jools Let me know and we'll see what we can get sorted.
IanJ Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Jools, I'd like a box of OB and 5 litres of gear (Is 5 litres enough to do a complete flush on my MY95 wagon?) Also do the diff take the same? I am currently working in Aberdeen but live in Falkirk (Home every weekend)and would be willing to ferry the stuff down for anyone in the central belt (payment would need to be made to Jools first!) Cheers, Ian
johns Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Jools will be collecting this order later today. Assume that everyone still wants their quoted amounts. John
scuba dou Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 OK as John says, I have the following products, which I picked up and paid for today. Martin 2 boxes OB Wuz 2 boxes OB Carl 2 boxes OB Grant 2 boxes OB IanJ 1 box OB and 5 ltrs gear oil
GrantyBoy Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Are you going to be at the monthly meet Jools???
scuba dou Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Yip...sure plan to be Grant; that will work fine if you wish. If anybody wants OB that I do not have for already at the above prices let me know I can get if for you and deliver to the monthly meet. I am making no money (and don?t wish to ) from this. All part for the service provided by SIDC Maybe I should charge non members a couple of quid more and send it to Phil
