dooahhdoo Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Guys, Just to warn of Subaru bits going missing. A month or two ago I posted in the dude thread about coil packs going missing from a mates car. Well, they have struck again and removed the front and rear seats. The owner has involved the police and is not happy. This looks bad for the club and for Subaru drivers all round so if anyone hears of any seats for sale (black and red with grey fleck and they were immaculate apparently apart from some blood on the drivers seat) please let me know (in confidence of course) and I will pass the information on to the victim. Keep an eye on your cars guys
Dave K Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Thats just desperate, the nerve of some people. No respect for personal property, lol like I found out today. Was the car not alarmed?
dooahhdoo Posted December 17, 2004 Author Posted December 17, 2004 It was the red one that crashed a few months ago. Waiting outside a body shop for repairs It was covered so the interior didnt get wet, this morning they come in and cover is off and doors are open with front and rear seats removed. I think it is in our duty to find who did it
heazille Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Toe rags, This is not good for the island, not normally like this!! Should not be too hard to spot going up an down the prom Cheers Richard
andy_bray Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 The Island is changing , more and more crime over here, so sorry to here this Nick .. hope that they catch the little gits...
dooahhdoo Posted December 17, 2004 Author Posted December 17, 2004 Andi, thats the point m8. "They" wont. Thats why I have been asked for help by the victim as he knows I am a part of the Subaru family here Shame we have a tw@t or two giving our family a bad name hence the appeal for help All possibilities will be passed on to the victim as he has informed me that due to the last light fingeredness on the car he had a UV pen and marked almost every removable part on the car LOL. Up till now I have heard of :- A whole electric folding mirror stolen 2 coil packs 1 interior We only live on a small Island guys and these plebs who decide they can take things rather than pay for them have no common sense whatsoever so will brag to their mates about their new seats or whatever and it might get back to one of us so please let me know if you hear even a whisper as my mate is very eager to meet the thieving toerags

AllenJ Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Oh dear, that a new one. When heard of stolen car seats.
Cret Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 << Should not be too hard to spot going up an down the prom Cheers Richard >> Suspect you're probably right there Richard. I frigging HATE thieves and have a personal bone to pick with them after having my 125 stolen last year. << All possibilities will be passed on to the victim as he has informed me that due to the last light fingeredness on the car he had a UV pen and marked almost every removable part on the car LOL. >> Excellent news mate, but the it wouldn't surprise me if they have UV lights & neons in their chavmobile anyway so they might end up spotting the marks themselves. With a bit of luck they'll drive over the edge of marine drive or something.
WRX IOM Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 This place is getting worse by the day!!! The government will let anybody come over here now. Even ex cons who do this sort of thing on a daily bases!!! I will keep my ears open for anybody trying to sale seats. This is just not acceptable and they should be truely punished for there actions. How they think they can get away with it!! Car thief must be a subaru owner or a freind of one to steel a set of Subaru seats!!! Unless ofcourse it was an opportunist steeling and taking back to the UK. Glad i have a good alarm fitted now. Manxnet would be a good idea, but i think these must have been stolen for somebody who wanted them!!! F***ing to**ers!!
