johns Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Hi Jools, was looking at those last night, but not sure I've got enough width in the upstarirs lobby to fit it. Might be quite tight. Will re-check tonight, and measure, and if it's OK, then I'll get one of those. Half the price of the onces in Jewsons etc. for the same thing! John
WUZ Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 Might not be a bad idea as I'd really like to see what she's putting out. Problem is, she's looking so BLING! BLING! now that only Boyakasha is DOPE enough to run my pimpin' ride Russell
Boyakasha Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 No probs Russell, if you need me to take it on for you let me know. I'll see you tonight Marc

scuba dou Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 Marc, Oh yes he knows! I guess who ever answers the phone for him best pass on the dates which I gave them when I called. He knew the dates were to follow for the last two weeks in Sept, but I will call him later to firm things up a little more if you follow No worries there. He will be avalible...
rossyboy Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Am I the only person who has no clue where they are going on the day?! Aberdeen is a big place and the less Optimax I waste in getting there the better!
Carl Davey Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Ross, i'll take a wee detour for you mate if you'll be staying at your girlfriends the night before? Failing that Gav is on the left before you get to Bridge of Don B&Q (both on the same road, B&Q being on the right) coming from AECC side. Piece of cake to find.
scuba dou Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 Rossyboy Bridge of Don. Just back along the road from B&Q on the opposite side just before the Chinese food place. Well sign posted with ?Wallace Performance?. Don?t know the street names but someone will. Used to be Hillview Motorcycles.
rossyboy Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Simbo, I'm from Aberdeen, but there's still a lot of optimax to be wasted if you have no idea where you're going! Cheers for directions folks, I know that area well (used to work at B&Q a few years back!) Just never noticed Wallace Performance before Thanks for the offer Carl, will see you there to save you the hassle, should find it easily enough now Need to plan a round about route to make sure she gets heated up a bit though.
MikeABZ Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 << Sorry Mike no ATR's allowed Marc >> Unbelieveable!
murray_marshall Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Do we know when this event is going to happen ? I am up for it, either MY02 STi or Tiger Supercat - like Numptie the weather will decide which.
scuba dou Posted September 3, 2004 Author Posted September 3, 2004 << Ok people I have some more concrete details on a few fronts to share with you. First of all costs; SIDC members will be £25 per car for two power runs. Non SIDC members will be £30 per car, again for two power runs. Note; All monies to be paid direct to Wallace Performance on the day. Please also note; the normal price for an individual rolling road session will be £45 (two power runs), so we are securing some very competitive prices indeed Secondly, the order listed below is not necessarily the order the cars will run. Closer to the actual date we will put a running order together with approximate times. This list will be made up purely by the different types of cars we will have running on the day, in order to keep changes to the actual rolling road set up minimal. Thirdly, all participants will be treated the same, as per our SIDC track days. SIDC member will not take priority over non-members, regarding running orders, etc. However please note if people are only available during the Morning or Afternoon due to work commitments we will do our very best to accommodate requests Fourthly, the actual day will be Sunday 26th Sept, with a start time of about 10.30, to be confirmed with Gavin Wallace. Looking forward to seeing you all at our first SIDC rolling road day in Aberdeen CT, Please see above; Sun the 26th, start time to be confirmed, but expect about 10:30 for 11:00.

Carl Davey Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Jools, i am going to invite my friend Callum along with his newly imported Evo VII. Haven't had a chance to ask him yet but it should be SVA'd etc by then and i'm sure he'll be up for it.
scuba dou Posted September 5, 2004 Author Posted September 5, 2004 Great stuff Carl.., looking for 20 cars or so. Often one or two can't make it for good reason at the time, so if we just bump up the figure slightly we'll be in good shape
