Our Impreza passed its MOT on Monday, just an advisory for slightly worn front discs but I have new set sitting in my shed for when needed.    Also bought an el- cheapo backbox (Klarius brand)for the old forester from ECP, under 50 quid with their discount code. 

Has anyone else noticed that ICP now do a balljoint removal tool for a fraction of the price of the imported US version? Also ordered one of these to add to the toolbox.

I did see it but didn’t realise it was much cheaper. Good spot.

Ours is in next week.  With no more knocking struts and new EBC Red Stuff front pads, am expecting a pass!

Yes Mine is 2 weeks time, I think I'm having little problem with the driving side rear caliper!! Seem to be binding a little! just changed break pads last week so could be a piston clean out???? Fingers crossed ?

Shouldn't be a MOT issue as I believe they will only check that the brakes are working to the required standard...

MOT passed today.  So, that's insurance renewed, road tax (£540 ouch), legal expenses and breakdown cover sorted, all on this month's credit card bill.  Oh, and new Redstuff front pads...  Looking forward to a less expensive April!!
