mctwistuk Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Managed to pick myself up a pair of freshly painted front wings in excellent condition as mine are a bit rusty. Now just to get them fitted somehow. Chris
mctwistuk Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 Yeah I thought that. Just not sure if the plastic fixer things will be easy to remove in side skirts
The Don Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Skirts off Grille out Bumper off Headlights out Replace wings - simples
davey l wrx Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) The side skirt is easy, it's the bottom bolt that's a twat to remove. I sheared mine off even after tons of wd40 to ease it. Fortunately the side skirt holds it all in place! The plastic clips cost pennies on EBay. I didn't break any doing my wing though. Just be careful prying the centre out to unlock them and then they usually just pull out with some long nosed pliers Edited May 3, 2014 by davey l wrx
davey l wrx Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 It is I did 1 in under an hour and didn't take the bumper off... If your doing 2 might be easier to remove it.
stumpystumpy Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I'm sure all arch liners have to be removed as well mctwituk changed them before wasn't really that simple
