thefastone Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Lewis, were you not on the run out that we did a good while ago, possibly when I was still RO, thought you were there that evening, we took that road...
thefastone Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Might be best to wait till someone finds the original route card, and making from that...? I know a few of us have it kicking around...
scouk Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Somebody come up with a design and I will sort the stickers, will try and loose them against a Shell Job ;-) My vinyl cutter is stored in the back of a cupboard for now
corsa Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 No matter what any plans are for a run, keep the route off the forum guys ;-) D 1
scouk Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Just found the handout from 2007! PM me whoever want's a copy
micra_wrc Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Al, I've emailed you the map I made up for the 07 Highland run - please circulate it to whoever is making up this run. I hope this gets off the ground and takes place, it would be a great way to remember Higgy. Imy
lewisscoob Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Lewis, were you not on the run out that we did a good while ago, possibly when I was still RO, thought you were there that evening, we took that road... The one where I said I didn't know you were gay when you started discussing motor biking in Banchory chippy? Don't remember... Think we went that way on the way back from my first fling? I was in the green classic.
thefastone Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Aye, sounds about right... wasn't that the same run that we noticed that Kenn was missing some wheel nuts too...? (also in Banchory)

zeolite Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Ahh. I am all nostalgic now. No Scoob, no insurance, no prescence in the UK. The Mustang would be a laugh on those scottish roads but using up a set of rears while finishing 10 minutes behind. Have fun and I will be with you in spirit!
Sc00bar00 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Aye, sounds about right... wasn't that the same run that we noticed that Kenn was missing some wheel nuts too...? (also in Banchory) That was in The big car park at Braemar Dale, im sure Higgy gave him a hand to change wheels round ;-)
wilky Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 I know from the horses mouth that Simon loved the run that went from Perth to The distillery we stopped at for lunch on 05? He liked it so much he ran it himself several times at times the road would be empty, both in his car and on a bike. Just wanted to mention it I think your run will go that way.
paul555sti Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 That was dufftown. We all five seasons in one day on that run.
thefastone Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 I've just had a message from Mel, Simon's Funeral is to be held at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Friday at 13:30hrs.
