Automatic Intercooler Sprayer ?

Just looking into making my GDB 03 WRX STi UK spec Blobeye Intercooler Spray Automaticly... Anybody know the easiest/best way to do it ?

Some reading for you. The jdm cars have an auto feature on them but the uk ones never got it.

I don't think mine's ever 'fired a shot' in auto mode. From what I've read it's mainly of use on track when you're pushing it and causing some head soak into the intercooler

There's that much info on the net it just gets all to confusing Lol .. So any ideas or info is appreciated. . And davey on your car does it work off the iC core temp ? Just wondering

I haven't got a clue, I think so from what I was told about how it works.

I've had the car over 18 months now and it's still on the original water that was In the bottle when I got it, just shows how often it's used. I've even had it set on auto and the only time I heard the motor going was when I was stuck in traffic and barely moving.

I've always had mine set to auto, and on the road it uses very little but at track days I've seen it almost empty a full bottle.

The jdm ecu controls it and uses various measurements such as temperatures and boost pressure.

I eventually went for a fmic when I changed the turbo so less of an issue now.

Lol I don't have to fill mine up much because I always forget to press the button .. its mainly hot days sitting in traffic and it opens up then I'm on it like a mad man.

Just thought there would be a good after market Solution for the UK spec cars.
