westtra Posted April 20, 2013 Author Posted April 20, 2013 Had the pads out and greased the back of the pads etc last night. Callipers looked ok with pisons moving ok when I pushed them back e.g. didn't need a shifter on my piston spreader to get them open. What do you suggest needs checked? Inside pads were worn slightly more that outside pads on both wheels.
lewisscoob Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 If the pistons move freely then that's grand. Just wanted to make sure vibrations weren't down to sticky/seized pistons
westtra Posted April 20, 2013 Author Posted April 20, 2013 Cool will double check when I have them off the next time.
lewisscoob Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Found this whilst browsing the net... http://scoobyparts.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_JETEX_EXHAUST_SYSTEM__NEW_AGE_.html Looks very like yours if i'm not mistaken...
spect Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I'm sure the umpteen folk with 2.5 failures might disagree! Nice looking Hawk, I was gonna suggest milltek or std but that's already been mentioned. Then there are the guys with the 2.0s which have failed too!! Looks like my old Prodrive back box to me. Nice to see another Hawkeye on here

I would say your spot on. Good spot. Will hace too look when i get home. Didn't look 3'' but when lying on road nosing i didn't have a tape measure out.
westtra Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 Possibly warped discs for the braking vibration? Thats what it looks like and thankfully the garage are sending me discs to change out as it too far too travel for them too do.
