corsa Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 The difference in colour of the car after doing that lot is amazing, its a mixture of haveing the time and the right products but most of all knowing the process :-)
mctwistuk Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Would love to be brave enough to try machine polishing as the 350z old benefit greatly from it.
dabiscuit Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I've used clay on mine. The entire car! Bit of a ball ache and only need to do it rarely, but gets almost everything off.

scoobywho Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Chemical guys sell good ones for 12 quid, I ha e an autoglym kit which was 62.00 and the cheap one is better
DR Motosport Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I've got a flimsy in-line detergent bottle that I put the shampoo in which kinda works, but would be interested to hear any recommendations for a half decent, but not too expensive, snowfoam bottle/lance and what snowfoam product to use? There's a group buy over on S/N for proper foam lances at £40, plus options for buying lance and snowfoams. Have the flimsy bottle too, but doesn't put it on very thick and it just runs off quickly, so thinking I'll go for one on the group buy. Have a 20litre container of snowfoam already, spotted the AutoSmart delivery van at a petrol station one day, and asked the guy if I could buy one, £20. Not sure if it was legit though, wasn't given a receipt
g1983 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Polished bliss did them for around that price Very good too

Like some of the others on here, I just used water. Seems to work fine, but there maybe better options.
