marky.t.s
Just a wee question guys,I've not been on here much recently so was wondering if the SIDC Central region is now defunct? It take it Tam And Brian have retired from the joint RO's job? Not read an official post about it,but I take it its no longer represented as a 'regional area' ? Link to comment

Not read an official post about it,but I take it its no longer represented as a 'regional area' ? think someone has picked it up if i remember right mark and also theres a wee pole of merging central.lanark.edinburgh etc into one big area for meets and group days out so theres more poeple turning up. but theres also going to be the choice of doing your own local think aswel if theres enough intrest etc. Link to comment
marky.t.s
No probs Paul, couldn't find anything 'official' just reading between the lines from what's been on other posts regarding meets, shows etc. The Central area hasn't done anything since last year,so I take it that a combined region meet is the way forward. It's a pity though,it was a great wee group of guys, and it was handy, only 10 mins up the road instead of sitting in rush hour traffic on M80-M8 to get to Hillington. Link to comment
badbaz
M80, M73, M74, M8, Hillington - 100mph all the way - 10 mins Link to comment

Hi Mark, yes tam and I Were dissapointed that nothing official was put up on the site but I think that says it all. Below is our resignation at the time Brian Smith / Tam Mellon Central region Joint RO’s Scotland Date 05/08/2012 Dear Kim, It is with sadness and regret that we are writing to inform you of our decision to resign from our position as joint RO’s for central Scotland with immediate effect. This was not an easy decision to make, on our part. The past 8 years have been very rewarding but over the last year we have felt the club in Scotland has went down a different path from what we feel and want as RO’s, and club members. Also other commitments have become too great for us to be able to fulfill the requirements of our position as RO’s within the club and we feel it is best for us to make room for someone with the time and energy to devote to the position. We wish you and the club all the best, and hope our paths cross again in the future Best Regards, Brian and tam. Link to comment
frenchy
Brian and Tam - I replied to your message on 05.08.12 at 10.30pm asking for some clarity but no further response was receieved from you. The information was then passed onto the Scottish Committee the next day. Link to comment
