scooby222 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 just making sure to emphasise the point that those with a thirsty motor and a heavy foot want to have a jerry can or octane booster with them especially on saturday - THERE IS NO VPOWER AFTER INVERNESS TILL WE GET BACK TO INVERNESS ON SUNDAY (that means no tesco 99 either for those in doubt....)

g1983 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Have gone for some Pennzoil Outlaw............ I had seen/ earmarked this earlier, just found it again, any preference http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OCTANE-BOOSTER-NITROUS-RACE-FORMULA-6-RON-300ml-/310640830057?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4853a2e669
scooby222 Posted March 29, 2013 Author Posted March 29, 2013 Phil, first rule of scooby club - dont mention fuel economy......
g1983 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 So my Octane Booster came today. Reckons per tank, 12.5 gallons, 4 Ron or 40 points can be achieved on 97 Ron fuel. As its a booster, would it only add say 3 Ron to Standard 95? Its Lucas Racing Octane Booster. Seemed much of a muchness between Don's Outlaw, NF Race Formula and this one. Cheers
corsa Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Might stick 10 ltrs of Shells finest in the boot as well for Saturday. D
g1983 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I'll quite happily hire out some jerrycan storage space in the Fozzy Support Vehicle . we could try to arrange one of those mobile valeting drums for you
g1983 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I'm sure I could borrow one of these fuel bowzers from the BP refuellers at the airport and sell you all the v-power you need at Ullapool . http://www.rpm-fuels.co.uk/towable-bowsers/ we had one with the fuel pump on it disappear from site as well
scooby222 Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 ive got two for work - might need to rinse the red derv out first though
monsterenergy Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Even though I'm missing the fling - I'd definitely be interested. Sorry for the hijack - but how is France for 99 RON? Will I need booster for a french road trip?
