Exhaust Cabin Drone

I think this is a daft question and probably the answer is obvious but can you hear the drone you get from exhaust in the cabin when you are outside the car?

No as you will only hear the internal drone when you are in the car and the external drone when outside the car...... did i just make sense

No you can't hear it outside, sound deadening material may be able to sort it, if its bothering you?

Just roll the windows down and drive through tunnels all day..... No more drone in the cabin, just big grins!! Simples!

Do you have a straight through centre pipe? At one stage, I had one on my 2.5, along with the Prodrive pack sports cat and back box. At certain cruising speeds, the drone was not loud, but very annoying on a long journey (couldn't hear Mrs Mac!). Since replaced the centre pipe with a Scoobyworld centre section incorporating a very neat, straight through performance silencer. Not as loud as before, but no drone whatsoever and still sounds very good (miles better than with the massive and restrictive OEM resonator.

Your car sounded great just buy earplugs lol
