Slimline Hid Kit

Recommended Posts

Hi guy's ,i fit one of those HID kits from AZTEC (Group buy on SN) and now one of the bulbs has blown ..

Looking on the AZTEC website it is £20 http://www.superhids.co.uk/hid-conversion-kits/hid-spares.html

Looking on Ebay there are kits for £25 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H1-H3-H7-H9-H11-HB3-HB4-35W-HID-Xenon-Kit-Headlight-Bulb-CONVERSION-1st-Royamail-/110807073773?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19cc9dc3ed

Is there any reason that anyone can think of NOT to buy the kit from Ebay instead of replacement bulb from AZTEC ???? Or any other suggetions as to make the Prodrive headlights on my UK300 any better ???

Thanks for any help you give :Scottish-flag:

Usually the way, you can buy the whole for less than the sum of the parts.

However, maybe quality (or lack of it)could be a factor................

That is what i was wondering Don ,although how great are the ones i have compared to the ones on the Bay ??

There seems not to be much info on Aztec (maybe its me) no numbers or if its 35w or 55w. Ebay one is 35w. but also 1/4 of the same kit price.

Personally I like ebay. Usually worth a punt and if its crap you let them know and usually resolve the issue.

However.....

This seller/ kit has had a few negative feedback on his kit sales (always worth a check). But lots and lots more positives more than happy with it. The technical term would be 'it is what it is' a cheaper kit with a lot of potential.

Unless someone else has bought them and of a different opinion it might be worth checking out.

Hope this helps a little.
