jimmer Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 To be honest, ain't got a clue! But a few mechanics I know said they will improve braking efficiency, don't know if it is a placebo effect but when I refurbished them & put dot 5 etc They were more positive, plus the look good & there stainless, not plated!
criddy Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 nice mate!! what does the Hel brake hoses do that normal ones don't I would imagine braided for no expansion on pressure being applied

Iv'e seen them on ebay and other websites and they all how good they are, but never knew!! you haven't mapped yours?
jimmer Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I would imagine braided for no expansion on pressure being applied That's a bit tech! Mr criddy!
bertious Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I will have to look into them, do you think the map will produce a good result
jimmer Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 (edited) I don't really mind, would be nice to get near the late 200s don't want any more! Really want to end up having a very clean low mileage classic that I have personally enjoyed tinkering with! A few years down the line would like to get hold of a good WR1 with no mods just standard! I would love a WR1!! thinking next year in changing the car to a saloon, had two and loved them! but thinking sti / jdm model
beefoss Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 If a copper or vosa agent saw my spec sheet they would simply wait till I was on the road then nick me for having full decat! I had better bring my crossbow just in case haha
criddy Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I would love a WR1!! thinking next year in changing the car to a saloon, had two and loved them! but thinking sti / jdm model I'd love a WR1 but will be once the dog has gone and he's only 4yrs old. However having said that. Seeing the wide track JDM STI, that's a contender too!
neil wrx Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 ahhh boys don't talk about an wr1 that is my favourite scooby
