louis1978uk Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 Hi all trying to get some general info together before i have a price heart attack at powerstation when i go for a tune Engine is a semiclosed block wrx sti (v5) ej207 with metal head gaskets Injectors 440cc Version 6 J2 ecu VF28 turbo (water-oil fed) Forge bov (have standard aswell so can revert to original) Top mounted sti intercooler (with standard bonnet scoop) Any idea what a safe max tune can reach on that kinda setup before more upgrades are required??? And what the most cost effective way to go about it would be? Link to comment

harvey_smith Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 Typically you will start to max out beyond 320 bhp on 440cc injectors. We actually saw 335 bhp on a car with the standard FPR. As you have an adjustable FPR you can slightly bump the fuel pressure and extend the range of the injectors. 16% pressure increase gives approximately a 4% increase in fuel. With 440cc injectors and VF28 they may both reach the limit of their ability around the same power figure subject to your mods and efficiency of the engine. After 440cc you would need 550cc side feed injectors that are good to around 400 bhp. Link to comment
