Sunnyhill Motors

I bought my car from them 5 years ago.. Pleasure to deal with! They handle a lot of subaru & evo stuff so familar with what they sell. Gave me a decent trade in value on my previous car.

I usually find their prices are reasonable for what you get.. Not as steep as some other places.. 10k for hte above seems a little high I will admit considering the current market.. Maybe knock another £500 > £1,000 off it... But that's what negotiation is for ;)

I would be more than happy to go back to them again... :Scottish-flag:

Maybe the 2.0 litre subaru's are going for a higher value over the problems the subaru's with the 2.5 have :smiley-taunt014: :smiley-taunt014:

Oh here we go, Kev bangs the JDM 2.0 is better drum. Is anyone listening ? :tumbleweed:

When I bought my car sunnyhill gave me a printout of the HPI check for my own piece of mind.. But I'd also done one myself so knew the story before hand... Was origonally the demo car for Town&County in aberdeen! :Scottish-flag:

Looks good. I see it's an 06 plate- make sure it's date of first reg is pre March 2006 sO you dont get stung with the £450 tax bracket. At least I would!

Having seen how SOME demo cars are treated at some garages... that's not necessarily reassuring *chuckle*

^^^ Agreed. Who here test drove a subaru from a garage and didnt give it the beans? You'd lke to think it would be well taken care off though.

Sunnyhill Motors are generally a bit steeper than most but ive yet to see a rough looking car there.

I would go and have a nosey myself but im in Poland til Sunday and off to Angola on Monday/Tuesday. :(

I use the hpi checker on pistonheads is that the best 1?

http://www.hpicheck.com/ is one that they use, and Ive used it a few times for buying cars and never had any problems, plus the fact that you can update it for free within 28 days of buying is a nice feature as it means you are eligible for their guarantee if it turns out they were wrong.

On looking at a few websites, looks like I might have got sunnyhill completely mixed up with crown motors who are also up in that direction, now they really are overpriced.

Some good bargains down south, I recently bought my hawkeye wrx from York for a fraction of what the dealers up here wanted for one, was scratched to hell but had sound service history and it didnt take long to get the paintwork back in shape. Take it your looking specifically for a STI?

Chris.

Was originally the demo car for Town&County in aberdeen! :Scottish-flag:

lol, I remember getting a shot of their demo car back in 2004 when my SEAT went in for a services, drove it like I stole it.:driving:

:iagree: Whole point of a demo car is that it gets "used"... But currently at 74k miles.. Bought when it was just under 40k and by then already had 4 or 5 registered owners :o But sunnyhill did put it through the painful 50k service before I got it

Fair to say the car is in good hands now :D Even with the mods B)

Was through North East way earlier this week, could of had a nosey... Not got any plans to head over that way soon though :(

Sounds like the right move. Buyers market so you may as well hold on for what you are looking for. I wouldn't buy a blob registered March 06 or later. Don't see the point when others are driving the car for half the tax. You can even get some hawkeyes pre that date
