The Snake Pass is the name given to the remote, higher reaches of the A57 road where it crosses the Peak District between Manchester and Sheffield in the north of England.

Ashby folville is a meet every second tuesday of the month and it's just outside Market harborough / leicester way. Its got all sorts of cars and bikes on display. Not sure what it's like this time of the year but during the warmer months it's pretty good, only costs £2 to park. There is a post in the midlands section about it.

I've heard the police have a helicopter over the cat and fiddle regularly as it's such a nice road so keep an eye out incase your right foot starts feeling heavy!
