My handbook says 5W-30 API SM or SL, SJ at a push.

5W would slightly improve economy over 10W and better for winters but if you get a long hot summer a 10W-40 or 10W-50 would be better for the engine.

I always swear by Mobil 1. Morris do good oils as well.

No expert though, just have my handbook next to me :rolleyes: .

titan fully synthetic from the the oilman {opie oils} used to be called silkolene pro s one of the best if not the best for excellent oil pressure this has been proved on proved as a angine builer and tuner down have tried all differant ones and this oil came out on top they dont use any thing else and have been using that for years now its the only oil I use and have done for a long time as well especially as the scoob does rely on good oil pressure for the back cylinders especially number 4
