StrikE Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 There was a red one in the dealers showroom when i bought mine last week........... nice seats but far too 'standard' looking for my liking & not enough gadgets. Still wouldnt say no tho

Wee Jock Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 TBH I think most cars on here that have been tweeked slighly would give them all a run for their money!
mystery machine Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 (edited) Clarkson said "it's too expensive", we all said "it's too expensive", yet every last one is sold... I guess Subaru knew what they were doing then That said, I'd rather have a Litchfield Hawkeye or an Evo 9 than any of the three reviewed (not hatchbacks, but you know what I mean) That Roller was nice though, eh? scooby222 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 every last one sold? not so sure - i think every last one is registered but thats a different story - was at least 3 for sale on pistonheads this afternoon from dealers with delivery mileage.....
paul555sti Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 They haven't all sold! Subaru uk were on facebook straight after the show saying they still have cars available!
rallyfever Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 3 seconds faster than the RS - all for only £15k more!!!! Every motorsport team in the World would pay 100 times that for 3 seconds a lap, in F1 they pay Millions for 10ths of a second. Long live the Scoob - Cossie powered or not
stum450n Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 be interesting to see a face to face between them though - make a nice true grip article Stu Would love to mate but the Cossie is reserved for the select few I'm not special enough
StrikE Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) Go on spill? Edited February 7, 2011 by StrikE new topic
david_taylor Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 The volvo was a project by the touring car peeps there, so its not even worth considering. The scoob, well its really a cosworth in a scooby chassis, since they basically through all the subaru stuff away and rebuit its engine from scratch. I will never be a fan on the new scooby, even that one still just does not have any presence, well except the costworth badge! The focus RS is awesome, having had a test drive of a standard RS, it blew me away and I could not believe the handeling and grip it had. TBH I thought it felt much better than my subaru ever did when I still had it. For 15k less, sorry, but thats a no brainer if you were looking at them. With previous comment in topic regarding F1 teams would do kartwheels for 3 secs at 15k. Well in the real world I think i would rather live with it than fork out that much. Plus is the scooby not limited, so the ford would get it after 155. lol
mystery machine Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Interesting to hear that some of the Impreza Cossies remain unsold. Are they offering them for RS500 money then?
bobbyc Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) I'm still a true subaru fan at heart but my RS gives me the subaru grin every time I jump into it, You don't have to shell out £35,000 either, just buy a standard RS & for £2,000 you can have exactly the same ford warranty approved power upgrade fitted, so £25,500 will get you the same as an RS 500 Edited February 8, 2011 by bobbyc
