Total shock.

Was in the service park when news filtered down and everything stopped.

Schedules & plans went out the window, people started grouping together and rally cars slowly returned to service.

My condolences go to his family, friends and crew

Sad to see scottish rallying has lost another great driver & my toughts are with the family.

Spoke to Jimmy at the services at the merrick stages last year & he was a real nice guy.

Very moving and very well written. I didn't know that Campbell Roy used to co-drive for him.

A very sad loss to Scottish rallying. My thoughts to all those involved.

Theres a moving obituary here in Scotcars >> Click here

That's very movign indeed.. :icon_salut:

To many good people are now missing from the sport, I'd never seen Jimmy with anythign less than an enthusiastic smile on his face at events.. He said he would win the championship in 2012, I believe he probably would! To have one the championchip 3 times, once a decade would have been a great accolade. Particularly once again in a Subaru Impreza..

I'll be stickign yet another signature tribute sticker on my rear window next to Colin's one. For Jimmy... In memory of yet another driver taken from us before their time.. :(
