Hi I need 4 new Tyres for my sti I was not expecting to need 4. I can get yokohamas for £67.50 each what is really good but are they a decent tyre for the scooby?

i got bridgestones on my WRX and they are pretty good performers, some of the people i have spoken to at my local meets use Falcons or Eagle F1's

Yokos ace in the dry but can leave a few stains in yur pants in the wet.

I run Pirelli P zero rosso on mine and they are very good.

Thanks everyone I decided to go for the dear option!! n get bridgestone potenza re 070 they come with them on standard and in the dry are really good just £500 for 4 ouch

They are scary in cold and wet conditions. I had them on my 05 blobeye STI. Never a dull moment in the winter . Good luck

Ye I second that, but my car is a weekend / second car so it don't come out in wet or cold much. Only problem I have with then is they ware down too much on the side Walls

I have RE070s on mine and got it in March so haven't had the full winter, though they've been absolutely limpet like in the wet so far.

It's my only car right now, and if we have a winter like last year, where my old Blobby went sideways into a Lamp post on Eagle F1s, then I might have to get winter tyres and some narrow rims.....more expense. Hmm.

Cheaper to buy an old Escort or Astra, but I'm fed up running three cars in the family.

Wonder what to do. Taxi in snowy or icy conditions may well be the cheapest option....

I've got the Bridgestone's on another car and in the dry they are great, in the wet is a whole different story

Anyone ever used Vredstein's? I seem to see a lot of other marque's ranting and raving about them.
