My Forced Modifications

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I knwo iv been more of a lurker and a poster, only because I havent seen much to post on or about lol. And also due to my new job and stuff its bene difficult keeping on top of things, but while i havent been around, iv had to do a few things to my belovied other half. . . . . .

My turbo broke a seal causing me mayhem with oil being blown out the exhust and sucked into tthe inlet.

So it had to be replaced!!

And on order from Scoobyprojects, To which Keith has giving me great honest advice on the best route to take the car down! :) I have a uprated fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, RCM K&M induction kit, and NGK PF7RB sparkies ordered from Scooby projects!

Then a Remap to suit the VF35 and full decat

What do you guys think? ;)

But if i find once running 1.3 to close to 1.4 bar I notice any boost creep with the VF35, ill take Big D's advice and port out the waste gate hole, and fit a uprated forge actuator too, which only means more power :o

It's such a pain when you are forced to upgrade the car :) will you be getting a RR graph to show the final power after all the work is done? It would be good to see the final figures with all this 'forced' work being done  Nice and clean engine bay too, even shinier with a sparkly new turbo ;)

I now have my Walbro255 lt per hour fuel pump, with my nice anaodised blue fuel pressure regulator with gauge filled up with some fluid stuff (Cath at Advanced Automotive told me the name but I forgot?) And fuel rail fitting. NGK spark plugs no7's :) And a awsome looking K&N induction kit also!.

Like to thank Keith at Scooby projects for advising me on what I should buy to compliment the turbo and for organising getting me the parts, and Advance automotive for supplying me the parts for me to collect.

Ill post piccies when I got a chance ;)
