monkip1 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Hi guys, I knwo iv been more of a lurker and a poster, only because I havent seen much to post on or about lol. And also due to my new job and stuff its bene difficult keeping on top of things, but while i havent been around, iv had to do a few things to my belovied other half. . . . . . My turbo broke a seal causing me mayhem with oil being blown out the exhust and sucked into tthe inlet. So it had to be replaced!! And on order from Scoobyprojects, To which Keith has giving me great honest advice on the best route to take the car down! I have a uprated fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, RCM K&M induction kit, and NGK PF7RB sparkies ordered from Scooby projects! Then a Remap to suit the VF35 and full decat What do you guys think? But if i find once running 1.3 to close to 1.4 bar I notice any boost creep with the VF35, ill take Big D's advice and port out the waste gate hole, and fit a uprated forge actuator too, which only means more power
Vimmy Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 It's such a pain when you are forced to upgrade the car will you be getting a RR graph to show the final power after all the work is done? It would be good to see the final figures with all this 'forced' work being done Nice and clean engine bay too, even shinier with a sparkly new turbo
Big 'D' Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 I advise you to port the 35 prior to fitting. If you have a full decat it will boost creep. Cheers Iain
edmondo Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 I advise you to port the 35 prior to fitting. If you have a full decat it will boost creep. Cheers Iain Hello I vaguely remember you

monkip1 Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 I now have my Walbro255 lt per hour fuel pump, with my nice anaodised blue fuel pressure regulator with gauge filled up with some fluid stuff (Cath at Advanced Automotive told me the name but I forgot?) And fuel rail fitting. NGK spark plugs no7's And a awsome looking K&N induction kit also!. Like to thank Keith at Scooby projects for advising me on what I should buy to compliment the turbo and for organising getting me the parts, and Advance automotive for supplying me the parts for me to collect. Ill post piccies when I got a chance

Big 'D' Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Out of interest for you, I went with a mate today to get his Impreza mapped on a VF35 with pretty much the same setup as me and it made 360bhp+. Cheers Iain
Big 'D' Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Just got the figures through, it ran 367bhp and 342 ft/lbs torque, for the sake of 3 bhp I would call that a 370bhp Impreza. Not bad for a Uk T2000 running a VF35 Cheers Iain
ScoobyProjects Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Go for it Ben! And Big 'D' Bob was telling me about your VF35's, singing your praises he was. Very good work there, I've told Ben to ask you to do the work on his VF35 as he has no time, lol. Do you think you could push them to 400BHP? Cheers, Keith
