Looking grand, mate!!!

How are the BCs performing?

What kind of suspension did you have before?

How did you decide how much of a drop to go for with the coilovers?

I'm having coilovers fitted soon and am trying to decide how much to lower mine.

Cheers!

Cheers for the comments guys.. re-assuring I've made the right choice with this one.. Unlike the black stripe which I was never really happy with but thought I'd give it a go..

Dunno yet, only done about 50 miles on them so far.. But on rock hard setting it's bloody lovely on roudnabouts. I've never felt the car so neutrally balanced.. Booting it roudn a empty roundabout 2 or 3 times in 2nd gear and it just kept gripping!!!! Not been out on a "fast road" yet, but need to bult up confidence with the car again, not properly driven it for months

Did have prodrive springs on it before.. For hte drop I just stuck them on the way they came but felt hte rears were sitting too low to raised it abotu 15mm and it looks prett event front and rear now.. Need more miles before giving judgement on them and need a bit more camber on front right wheel. With the damper adjustment you really can switch it between floaty to rock hard! Also quit elike the idea of being able to make the rear that litlte bit stiffer than the front ;) SHould but out some of hte understeer

You going to the rally tomorrow?

Yeah! SHould be.. WIl have the scoob along to cooper park in the mornign but will swap it for the Ka for maybe a coupel stages later in teh day.. GRounded the scoob last year on a couple of stages don't wanna be doing that too often.. :)

Sounds very nice - and you haven't mentioned anything about a bollock-crushing ride either, which is good ;)

Aye, the idea of being able to adjust the car's dynamics is very appealing - cheerio understeer, hello Japanese Drifters! :)

Obviously depends on what you set it to.. THe full hard setting (oor err!!) Is pretty damn harsh of cut up damaged roads, but it corners flat as a pancake! On full soft setting, it feels more floaty than soft.. It's not as harsh as the prodrive setup was, but it's not quite soft it's more marshmallowey. Think if I set too long at full soft I'd end up getting car sick for the first time in my life.. So definately wide scope for adjustment and personal preference.. Many peopel seem to stick around the mid range, but as mine now a weekend car mostly It may get set a little harder with the rear that extra touch stiffer

Lookin good. Really like the stance your bug has. Its really suiting the new splitter also. Has seen this splitter before whilst doing the research for mine. It really suits the red mica :)

Looks good!

Like the new splitter too.

Il have to stick my Evo style black though, just not the same choice of splitters for hawkeyes, especially wagons with the slightly narrower dimensions.

Cheers guys! :)

For anyone interested (and isn't aware), the splitter is infact Subaru's own optional bugeye part and not aftermarket ;) Much like the STi/JDM headlights, theey are difficult to get a hold of, but managed to pick up one from japperformanceparts for some cheapness. Rubbed down, resprayed and voila!

So that car at the moment is pretty much all standard subaru, STi and prodrive optional parts  (except the coilovers, and the wheels but you can get prodrives with similar design B))

Yeah really like your wagon.. inspiration for the stripe clearly came from there, but I went overboard and pulled the black up tot he top grille.. Looked pretty good and certainly different, but didn't suit the car the same way it suits yours :P So a change of plan was required.

ahem apart from the mapping of course..... ;)

Shhhh!

True.. But you cant tell that from the outside.... unless it moving :P

At least it's not all show and no go.. the tiny TD04 Turbo still lets me get up to 60+ quicker than a standard STi. and surpisingly tends out accelerate classic JDM WRX's ;)

... Now where'd I put that launch control sofware :)

Actually, the rear lights are aftermarket, more blobeye style, and the rear diffuser isn't Subaru Design... Oh well..... Ok.. From the front and side... . . .
