Goodwood Festival Of Speed

Recommended Posts

Just back from helping at the McRae Vision stand at Goodwood Festival of Speed

We had mobile shop/retail unit, the L555BAT Impreza and the R4 with us, and also a gaming unit that let punters have a shot of DiRT2 in the D-Box chair

am knackered from the long journey home and the long hours spent manning the stand over the 4 day event

Grant and I didn't get to see much of the Festival, it was bloody huge and sprawled all across the estate!

our lunch breaks were confined to walking to near by stands and exhibits, as we didn't want to get too far away from the Vision stand

but I did manage to take loads of photos and they are too good not to share :D

It was a fantastic event and I highly recommend saving your pennies (burgers were £7! I dont care that they are organic!) and spending 2 or 3 days there, there's too much to cover in one day.

was tempted to open the doors and sit in them and someone else must have thought the same,

as a car alarm went off just as I was thinking about it!

Other cars/exhibits

Some of the stands from the big boys (Nissan, Alfa etc) were stunning, wouldn't have fancied helping put them up :D

the owner of this is selling it.

It was done up by The Who to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and it is immaculately painted and restored

the pictures reflect about 25% of the show and we're seriosly thinking about making the trip again, as a punter, so we can see everything that we missed (the hill climb, race track and the rally stage) :D
