Team result was not the best we have had but the team spirit was there along with Bravehearts attitude of "if i dont break it i aint trying hard enough" so a good result for the weekend in general

Peters car looked like it would have been quick if it had kept all 4 tyres in contact with the ground, went round the handling circuit like a greyhound on PCP with a bladder problem, cocking a leg at every bend/oppertunity. On the strip, well 10.9 is a damn good result for a full fat lard ass Newage with a nutter behind the wheel, so job done there then.

Found a cracking place to camp round the corner from the previous years pitch, really quiet (apart from some sheep), security camera for the car and bushes to hide the car behind/piss behind so the result was a sleep from 12 till the back of 7, result

Chris, your a nutter

Johnny, thanks for the video, i will keep it in the glovebox of the car for the next time someone says, "have i not seen that car before"

Special thanks to MikeyB for the trip down memory lane, your a bad man but in a good way

Till next year then

Would like to take the opertunity to say thanks to all involved the Suburu Team, Sw and sons, mikeyb, grant, Wuz Ra Dunk and every one else who showed there support thank you all

Yes had a great weekend To be honest, the video was my first attempt and to be honest it is alot harder what you think it is to drive around coloured cones and you only get 5 attempts as part of the team and I'm sure JAC will verify lol and I have a memory like a sive, only achieved a 11.02 so so close to my 10 sec maby if I had Andy F driving I'm sure it would of been achieved however my car me driver I'm affraid.. The car had a problem so had to retire early afternoon so could not get my 10 sec 1st run I did an 11.03 still on low boost never got a chance to give it full chat no excuse tho, untill next time.

Great to catch up all the usual suspect and was good to see my car getting driven by Colin Greer. Its the first outing for the car and defo need more setting up and putting more things on it to make it better.

Will need better tyres to do another event like that and the car ran a 10.87 @ 132mhp.

Good to hear you had fun guys - wouldnt mind having a pop at TOTB myself (Impreza isnt quite up to it yet though :) )

Peter - what changes are needed for your car, and what tyres were you running? Do you plan to use it daily or get it a bit more track focussed (firmer susp, more lightness etc)

Chris - what happened to yours? Gear troubles too?

I'm trying to decide the best route for my car (aiming 500-550) - JDM 6sp DCCD or keep the current STi 5sp and drop in the SC 1-4 gear-set. Any opions on either option. Costs would prob work out the same. Weight saving sticking with 5sp.

Depends what sort of use you'll be putting the car too.

JCD 6 speed would slow you down on the strip with the extra shift just before the line.

Seriously thinking about taking my straight cut out as it's a bit much on the road.
