thefastone Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Just seen this on another forum, and I dont know if its been posted already, but might be of interest to some: Auction Website
jamesm Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Ahh, Wilsons, I know it well! Got a load of furniture there when Artisan went bust and they did the liquidation auctions. The heavier stuff you can't just carry away tends to go for peanuts in these types of auction.
sti pretender Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Have asked if they have a list of the lots, see whether it is worth a trip down.
wrx kenny Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 used to go to this auction now and again a few years ago , from what i remember most of what was for auction was crap to be honest , but each to there own . kenny
thefastone Posted June 10, 2010 Author Posted June 10, 2010 I guess it all depends on what lots are on, if you are going to a specific auction then you can at least have a rough idea of what to expect...
ace_tingtong Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Sounds good, might take a gander at that cheers for the heads up

Liquidation auctions sell just the stuff from the company that has gone bust and tend to be pretty decent. Remember that you have 15% auctioneers comission AND another 17.5% for VAT on top of the hammer price!! It is amazing the people who forget and stand arguing about it.
sti pretender Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 List will be available to download from the website the day before the auction.

Speaking of which, did you get your poster? You think that they might have one if they are a garage too?
evil evo Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Hi know wonder they went bust , i went in a while ago flashing 2k after a set of 18s for the evo the guy said he would order them and phone me up after a few days of no call i popped in again and approched sales person he said sorry as they cant get wheels and would i look at others, which i did i chose others and would have taken them away that day but he told me to come back on the saturday so he could try them on car, at £1800 the salesman should have jumped and got them fitted but the dick was more interested on talking on the phone , so i went and spent my money at skidz in falkirk cheers evil
scoobywho Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 The stuff is selling as a job lot, most of the stock was taken by the suppliers and its only really tyres and ramps and that kind of stuff left

True, but I have all the machinery now at full price At least I know it's all in good order I suppose. Never thought about the tyre pressure chart, here's hoping they did have one as I am still struggling to find somewhere to buy it! Just bought my lightbars etc so all I need now is the graphics, then you will see me following the convoys waiting for punctures Typical that they are selling everything I have struggled to find though hopefully the auction has some decent stuff, will need to check the listing the day before
