Gave the Hatch it's first detail this week ,used my new snow foam lance -it was great,clay barred ,polished and finished off with Blackfire wet look polish,wheels removed washed/cleaned and treated to some Tech wax .Thinking about a wee trip to Polished Bliss in the summer or maybe Szcscoob's garage if i can twist his arm.

Here's a few pics before the sun goes down;

Nicely done.

Blackfire on a black car looks great (bias as I use it on mine!). What blackfire products did you use ?

Won't stay like that long with the building site next to you ;)

The hatch will be most welcome to come over to Cullen for it's holidays :crying:

I must admit the hatch is starting to cough cough grow on me, the few guys in the club that have them have all carried out subtle mods that really enhance the car, looks the dogs tommo ;)

Pardon my ignorance, but how does one apply this snow foam...? I imagine it's inline with the power washer, but I'd be grateful if you could recommend me some suitable kit :D

I've always power-hosed mine with cold water prior to hand-washing, but it takes a while to go over every inch of every panel removing superficial dirt - it sure could use some help floating off :P

Many thanks.

P.S. Still liking your hatch :P

Hi mate ,yes it's an add-on to your powerwasher lance and basically there's a plastic bottle with a nozzle/gun attachment that you put your wash solution in then top up with warm water and then as you use the lance the solution mixes with the water to produce the foam.It seems to lift all the surface dust etc off prior to washing with a mitt ,which can only be good for your paintwork.

Have a look at Polishedbliss website for info/prices etc

If you dont fancy paying PB prices for a lance attachment, and have a karcher, try looking up mervs77 on ebay. I recently bought one and it does exactly the same job but at half the price. Still needed to buy the shampoo from Rich at PB though.

Check out www.detailingworld.co.uk for tonnes of info on foam etc.

Group buys etc and you can buy the snow foam from many retailers who advertise and discount there.

Don't forget, SIDC members get 5% off at www.EliteCarCare.co.uk.. But as I recently found out there's now a delivery surcharge for IV postcodes :rolleyes: So back to www.PolishedBliss.co.uk for my current order... But would reccomend either, I've had great service from both. :whistle:

. o O (Al... Sitting on the fence.. :D )

P.s. Tommo thanks for satisfying my foam fettish :D
