Jimmy321 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 I read that they want to put at least 5% on spirits every year for 4 years and raise VAT to 20%! Here's what the Torygraph had to say about it Torygraph budget 2010 I will sign the fuel duty petition but it wont make any difference.

StrikE Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 TBH the only way is to stop using the fuel or massive blockades at refineries like before & not give in. Cant see that happening though Got us by the short & curlies

Jon B Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 why not get all scoobie owners together and do a convoy to downing street, pretty sure they would take notice once they hear the racket we make
BalliSTIc Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 why not get all scoobie owners together and do a convoy to downing street, pretty sure they would take notice once they hear the racket we make Fine, provided you could keep it together through London traffic.
mystery machine Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Fine, provided you could keep it together through London traffic. Aye, 'fine' is the right word - does it not cost about £10 to drive a motor into central London these days? Imagine - driving a car on a city street and expecting one's road tax to pay for the pleasure - the sheer audacity!
