badbaz Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 It's got to be a particular oil. Steering Tightening Isn'tit? oil which is quite hard to come by. Or, for yours iirc, Wheel Release Xtract oil! No, mate, it doesn't matter - engine oil will do. Just get some on it and turn from lock to lock. Watch for the oil turning rusty and if it does monitor the U/J for play. Depends how badly seized it is as to how much chances of wear and then failure there is. Link to comment
