We'll see LOL We have weddings and such like coming up (Fee will tell me the dates when I need to know :| ). My engine is goosed again so may have to rock up in the Skyboat. It needs some map tweeks before hand though so I can actually race on the lights! Link to comment

That's what i like to see Adam some banter my friend, I think there is a few lads after a Trophy i will oblige and buy another 2 trophys for the day.. Fastest Road car (car need to be mot'd and taxed) which mines is just a bit lighter now and ill be driving it there .. Track car (no tax no mot) and trailerd.. That simple.. Link to comment
TrackScotland
I should have won the other trophy then The Skylie is fully road legal and tax'd! Just tow it 'just in case' Link to comment
RA Dunk
Road cars get driven to events Trackcars get towed to events Edited February 13, 2010 by RA Dunk Link to comment
colin_ross
Road car = driven there. End of. I'm sorry but it does make a difference. If someone knows there car has to be driven home (hopefully) it will be treated differently on the track. Also many have more than half a tank of fuel to make sure they can play for a while and still make it to a fuel station afterwards. If someone wanted to make an extremely hardcore road car with one seat no interior or sound deadening and plastic windows etc I'd have no problem as long as it was driven to the track. A tax disc doesn't make a road car - using it on the road does. Link to comment
TrackScotland
details details details ! I had a full tank when i turned up..... and finished with about 15l left in the tank. I did drain about 30l out when I decided that the times were crap LOL - and removed the pass seat, the spoiler etc Link to comment

Road Car MOT & Taxed and driven to the event. 2. Track Car Towed to the event.. Link to comment
hi_jac
Why not use MSA Blue book 2010 rules for production road cars and modified cars. I would think that would be the fairest way for all. Link to comment

braveheart
thats just getting too serious LOL Very true Adam remember folk this is all for banter on the day, so the restrictions stands about road and a track car and how it gets to the event CASE CLOSED no need for proper competition rules we are taking the fun away from it.. Thats the spirit...its just a fun day,not competition day! But i do understand where different people are coming from. I would bring my car on a trailor if i had one coz if it broke on the track at least i can still get it home. I would still drive my car on the road but wouldn't be as hard as on track. So does this mean i have a track car or road car? TOTB....tax and mot but most cars a very serious track weapon and for track use only! Why?...Maybe for fine tuning on the road as track is out of bound/pocket? Link to comment
TrackScotland
They TAX and Test them so they can compete at TOTB.... Link to comment
