Wee Jock Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Finaly cleaned the car and posted pictures! Some of you keen eyed folkes out there will notice the front lower splitter is missing! Travelling home from the airport on Friday night towards Kilcreggan we hit a flood on the Hall Rd, it destroyed the splitter and removed the number plate. Found the number plate the next day without a scratch on it! New Spltter and Fog lights being ordered tomorrow!

Actually think I might have passed you going over the Blackhill a few weeks ago, I was heading to Helensburgh you were heading in the opposite direction. I was in this, my old car!

I've recently fitted a front splitter and I've still to go over my first speed bumps and go into multi storey car parks!! I'll remember to be careful for floods as well!!!! The car is now wearing speedlines and has no side skirts,rear bumper spats,spoiler ready for painting.Got standard back lights,new inner lights for the morettes,mudflaps removed and looks like i will replace both front wings prior to painting. I'm sure it will look spot on when finished. Gav

I'm sure it will look spot on when finished. Gav Thats some amount of work, wasnt that bad! Do you know something I dont? Its not as bad as my previous car! It had speedlines too!

I hit a flood on the military road last week and completely spun out in the scoob, was full of the flu going into town to pick Vicci up, shouldn't have been driving (wanted to be sleeping!) thought I was going a wee detour off the edge for a bit before I caught it and came to a stop. Spun about 3 times, but the car was fine thankfully. I've crashed a few in my time but am terrified about wreckin the scoob, that's it off the road now until we get the clutch sorted and re-MOT it, so if you see a blue pug 306 passing you and waving frantically, it will be us 30mph up the Peaton Hill, god it hurts!!

He he, yeah but it sounds like it's dying when you push it that much, gotta be in 2nd gear two thirds of the way up. Ridiculous just put a new engine in it, not sure if the new one is rubbish or I'm just too used to driving the impreza now....feels like you are on the slow boat to China trying to go anywhere!! The only bonus is £15 will get you a lot further in the diesel, you just have to leave half an hour earlier Btw, what happened to your poor black scoob? hope you weren't injured in the smash looks pretty gubbed!

Stuck that on the beach at Kilcreggan, landed upside down 20 feet from the road.............what a strange sensation it was too! Walked away with nothing more than a 1cm cut on the side of my head, lucky boy
