myles
Anyone from the Oxon area going up on the Sunday? I know most are camping, but Im less likely to get lost en route with others in front of me! Link to comment
myles
Doesn't matter anyway bud, I wont start a new thread for this, isn't worth it. In full view of Iain, his mate reversed his Hummer (well it looked like one!) right into the front of mine. Looks pretty flucked. Iain will probable be able to put a rough price on the cost of repair, new bonnet, slam panel, headlights(one is smashed inside), radiator and spraying! No trip to Japshow for me! Still, to the lads credit, he held his hands up to his insurance and four hours or so later, I have a hire car arranged FOC and a garage is picking it up on Monday! Still got to the gym after though.....thats all that matters! Link to comment

myles
Many questions here, how much will all the parts cost, do you think? And will it be a complete front end respray? And, shhhhh, do you think I can wangle all the other marks on the car touched up within the price!? Not funny, but I had to smile..........just one of those things and Dan sorted it out v. quickly so more power to him. Link to comment
stum450n
Sorry to hear that Myles mate but like you say, at least it's getting sorted quickly! Link to comment
myles
C'est la vie........... the front end will end up looking better than it does now, as long as they do it well. The company are Doug Drewitt and Sons, Headington, heard of them? Link to comment
HairyDJ
sad news to hear of the damage. When mine had rear end insurance repairs done, i was able to get some other paintwork sorted at a good price while the car was in for the main job - well worth asking? Link to comment
