Joe G Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Going to be fitting my coilovers tomorrow if all goes according to plan. Im at work in aberdeen for the next couple of weeks so looking for somewhere to get the geometry set up for fast road. Can anyone recommend anywhere in aberdeen that does wheel geometry? Ive only found wallace performance and will need to get the alignment/geometry done before driving home. Cheers Joe

hosstheboss Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 (edited) Just got mine done at Town & County. They will quote you something like £190 though! Edited August 28, 2009 by hosstheboss
johns Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I had mine set-up at Wallace Performance. Job well done and reasonably priced. It helps that they are only a 5 minutes walk from my office though, so was able to drop the car off, and pick it up later.
pmacFTO Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Should you not let the coilovers settle a week or so before going for alignment?

Cheers Joe I can do 4 wheel alignment at a cost of £100 as My mate runs the garage at overton service and repair center in dyce(next to the dismantlers) the machine is infared so no lasers and is all pc controled you provide the settings you want your car set to and must be in degrees and not mm takes about 2 - 4 hours depending on settings & also the wheel gauges clamp on to the wheel rim rather than sit on the tyres can only be done on a saturday morning since i work during the week since starting an onshore job I need to give the garage a weeks notice 1st so i know the ramp will be clear for the saturday any one interested please get intouch

Joe G Posted August 29, 2009 Author Posted August 29, 2009 Should you not let the coilovers settle a week or so before going for alignment? 'Killa' had them on his cars for a couple of months so the springs should be well bedded now. Gonna go fit a a couple of the struts today and a couple on monday when im back in aberdeen! Does anyone have a number for Jim King? Will give Wallace a call too to compare prices. Whats the best fast road setup? Joe
