Ebc Red Stuff Pads

I had a set on my classic a while back, they were by far the worst pads i've ever had on any car, huge amount of dust and horrible pedal feel.

hope this helps.

Kenny - I know a few people haven't enjoyed them but I get on fine with them. I used them for track and road driving without an issue. They respect you better if you bed them in properly, otherwise they just disintegrate.

I wouldn't rate them either. OEM pads lasted about 18k miles with a little bit of track use on my old STi. Red stuff pads lasted all of 7k miles with only moderate road use. Pedal feel was awful when cold, but better once warmed up a bit.

I wouldnt $ish on them m8, get mintex 1155 or decent ferodo pads.... those red, green, yellow ,pink, purple, orange n blue pads are rubbish :)

I'll second that mate always used pagid, ferodo or mintex was never into rainbows lol

give Dunc at Hypertech, Stevie Whitson or the guy's at AWD a ring depending on what your using the car for will dictate how extreme or how much you need to spend

i finaly went for red stuff pads against most of your advice if im proved wrong then fair play to you all :) , mucho cheapness and that i had used them on previous cars swayed me , anyway there on now took them out for a long spin and so far definatly feel bettere than the mintex ones i took of , which on the last lanark run scared the living sh*t out of me when they decided not to play which isnt good .

thanks for all the comments guys :D

Better late than never Kenneth . . . .

I had those on before I uprated the discs and pads. I couldn't fault them, my PF stuff is certainly no better on individual applications. No more or less dust than any others I've used and I've got to agree with Stephen they've been ok for what I used them for. Hope they are good for you, you'll know on the next Lanark Meet!!
