mikeyb13 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Just picked this up tonight, been looking for a couple of months for something to replace the Type R I was looking at VX220 turbos but had to have this. Its a bit dirty having been thrashed all the way home Only 190 BHP so not as fast as the Subaru but just as much fun. See you all at knockhill
sti_steve Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Had the same engine in my celica. Its a great high revving engine and its great when lift hits in at 6200rpm! Would love to have a go in the lotus version to see how big the difference is for wieght ratio ect. Nice plate too!
Midnight21 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Mikey it will be weird not seeing you in the black type R but that looks like good fun....and easy to spot too lol

mystery machine Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 When I saw the thread title my heart sank at the prospect of opening it up and being subjected to some boring Audi or BMW that's "just as much fun as the old Scooby and cheaper to run" (baaah!), but much kudos to you for opting for something truly interesting! Would love to have a shot of one of those one day... is it as involving and exciting to drive as they say they are? Whit a beaut!
