arch Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 (edited) possibly better than you think.everyone knows the bold arch as your forever bumming your own trumpet and the subaru sites SIDC S.NET 22B to name a few. You are of course 100% right when you have something to bum yourself up about then feel free to comment - any way peter think your thread has been hijacked sorry Edited April 8, 2010 by Arch
wilky Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Not at all! Keep going, there hasn't been any excitement on here for ages. Just to recap then, Arch is a clype and blows his own trumpet. JAC doesnt like the service Alan provided to Peter Peter gave everyone 20% discount and wont let the same thing happen again. Continue, please..........
colin_ross Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Wilky was last seen wearing a stetson and high heels while smoking a rod
john_stevenson2 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 (edited) Edited cause I can't be a***d getting into this. And again because I've just read SkidMarks recent posts. Nothing to contribute but smart asred remarks. Edited April 8, 2010 by John Stevenson

fai17 Posted April 17, 2010 Author Posted April 17, 2010 26th is a no go and no point in putting yourself under pressure to get your car ready for a set date. Loads more to do even if i get my car back on the road!

BalliSTIc Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 For G*d sake get a grille over those coolers mate before they get shot to bits with stone chips! I know you won't get many on a track/ strip, but I assume you'll need to drive there/ back. Lookin' good!
arch Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Front end is looking good peter. Why did you not take the i/c pipework under the headlights to reduce the length?
fai17 Posted April 18, 2010 Author Posted April 18, 2010 Front end is looking good peter. Why did you not take the i/c pipework under the headlights to reduce the length? They said they would prefer to have better flowing bends with longer pipe work than to have a shorter pipe work and 2 sharp 90degree bends into and out of the i/c. Its just for experiement and R & D. I know that you have the short pipe work and have good results but Jac has the longer set up and have great results too so where would you go from looking at the 2 set ups? Thanks for the good comments Archie
fai17 Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 Its been such a drain in the funds department and the car still haven't seen the road yet.Been spending and buying loads of stuff just to get the car finished! The new rear lateral bar are on thanks to Paul@Zen for pointing it out that the previous ones were wrong.Cheers mate. Here are the correct bars for a UK v8 STI. The front chassis/under pinnings has been powder coating and with some new Whiteline/Superpro bushed in place. There is a Whiteline H Brace from a classic fitted too. These was supplied by Alyn@AS Performance. This pic shows the H Brace and GKN shafts Some more pics of the underneath to show all the powder coating and cleaning that has been done.It has also had a coat of black underseal for rust protection. Now moving to rear fuelling set up underneath the car.Greersport has put on bulkhead fitting to connect the fuelling to the boot. I would like to thank Colin Greer@Greersport for all his recent hard work.
fai17 Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 And finally for the now...the clip of the engine running with the Front Mounted Turbo. The engine is sounding sweet and there are just a few snaggings to fix before i get the car back for doing the running in next week.
