Time Attack Sunday

Great day both on & off the track, there were pleanty of scoobies to drool over & it was good to catch up with everyone,

The only down side for me was getting a phone call during prize giving to say my dad had escaped from his home,

luckily my sister in law was passing through Camelon & saw him running along the main street, convict 99 re-captured safe & sound.

Apparently he decided to go for a walk & climbed the wall, escape from Alcatraz, I'm :D now but there was a moment of panic.

:( Thanks to Paul C for organising our stand & to everyone who took part,

Bobby

Not long home and still smiling even though I am sunburnt to a crisp. What a great day out, nice to meet so many old and new friends.

Very well done to all those taking part and getting fantastic results.

Well done to Tam for winning a show and shine prize :(

John (my photos will come later - I need to find some after sun cream first, and then some food :D)

Well done John for first in class and well done to Tam for the best in show for a shiney car!

Good to meet you too Scott (Gambler) car was looking good on track and I think your right about 700 odd HP cars being a bit off for club class, they should have been in club pro IMHO.

Sorry chaps about the pictures but they are ok on my 50inch screen! No only kidding , is everybody got the same problem? I can delete them and stick them on the EVO website to piss them off as well!

Car of the day was the Sleeper Datsun 150y that had 250hp courtesy of a 200sx lump and drivetrain. It even had authentic battered suitcases on the roof

Defo was the sleeper of all sleepers!!

As for the blag Imy........ME??...........Neeeeever, just right place, right time and a calculated "about turn" at the gate :(

just resize them! Its not the viewable size.. that gets scaled (eventually once they load!!!) They are over 1.3mb!!!! Thats about 10x as large (file size) as i'd normally post!!!!

Resize them from 3300x2500 to 800x600

Looks like a cracking day. We've been away all week and last night I looked at the weather and the prospect of an early morning start and decided to give it a miss. Sorry I did now! Cracking pictures as usual.

Sorry if Team Stevenson were'nt very sociable/chatty today but oil pressure problems and power steering drawing in air , had an already frazzled team , stretched! That's two events in and were hanging in by the skin of out teeth sometimes. A lot of camaraderie between teams , as everyone knows the efforts been put in just to get near a starting grid. A great drive by John today which shouldn't be a surprise, but we were mucho happy with a 3rd place. :( .

craig.
