Heard a few bad stories about 1st choice tbh. My mate bought an evo from them and had nothing but problems with it.

Personally wouldn't buy from them. Id get a mechanic or someone with a good bit of mechanical knowledge to go have a look at the car with your mate.

there is a few things that stand out there:

1. Why is it still reading KM's???

2. Obvious modded but no mention in ad

3. All sorts of electrical gismos on dash, would be asking q's about them

4. Induction kit fitted, has it been remapped for UK fuel??

5. is it SVA'd and delimmited??

6. Check the service history

Price is far to high IMO and high miles (although it does say Km) tell your mate to keep looking as there is plenty out there.

Why not put up here what he is looking for and people will gladly help.

Best of luck.

I know that garage with experience!!! 2 cars from there 2 F$$$ups , 1st was an astra gsi it had a fault nobody could fix not unless the full car got rewired it was costing a fortune, 2nd was a calibra DTM every time u took ure foot off the acc pedel the car would stall!!! The best of all was my brother's pal bought a 52 plate bugeye last year ,£12000 after a month he notice the struts were nackered all 4 , took it back and they said that the 30 day warenty was up and it was not there problem, it cost him well over a grand to get it fixed, then he found out the brakes were fked as well pads and disks that was more money , he would have been cheaper buying a Bentley. Advice !!!!DONT TOUCH IT!!!!

I think he gets some of his cars from WRC SALES Bradford & WRC SALES Keighley & these are very dodgy garages as ive been & seen some of the s**** theyve had it stock!!!! :D

Ive also seen some cars advertised on their websites aswell as the 1st Choice website at the same time!!! :)

If it were me id stay well clear!!!

Ive testdriven 2 cars at 1st choice. After getting a check back on the 1st (which was an M3) came back as STOLEN, 2nd car I testdrive was a P1 Impreza that clicked really loudly as I drove it, guy said it was tappets!? More like it was the a*** end giving up!!

A friend traded in a 206 GTi Gran Tourismo, they gave him 1800 for it. Weekend after it was in the papaer for 7k!!!! WTF!?

STAY AWAY FROM 1ST CHOICE MOTORS, COMPLETE RIPOFF MERCHANTS!!

If you like the burble and rumble of your scoob .The Jdm Sti 03 onwards with the equal length headers have no noise and are very quiet all you hear is the spool up of the vf37 twin scroll turbo and dump valve

Steer well clear of 1st choice robbing barstewards, it's a buyers market & theres some nice genuine scoobies out there £10,000 will get you a lot of car in the present climate don't rush into anything, put up on the site what you are after & somone will find you a cracker.
