CustomScoobyIOM Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Now officially is Boxer23 See I told you we could do it Hee Hee!
Boxer23 Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Know any others, Dave? Bungs or not? Couldn't even hear your dump valve at lunch time. Tut tut.
Cret Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Ha ha. Enjoy having the title while you can my friend, for once the Rover fires up again I'll be taking it off you. I can almost see a little wager possibility here.......
Cret Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Just wait and see boyo. I'll be no more impressed by your apologies than I am by your boasts! Hee hee. I think I might have to invest in a dB meter for when the phoenix arises from the ashes, for the tenner or so you can get them for I think much amusement could be had!
Kristan Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Definitely reckon a competition could be on I'd like to know how loud mine is for track purposes etc.. I know some places have restrictions on noise levels Unlike the mountain
Cret Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Hmmm, the Loud & the Furious! I know Tandy used to sell SPL meters for about a tenner but not sure where'd be the best bet to get one now. Ebay I suspect, just like everything else!
Boxer23 Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 << Hmmm, the Loud & the Furious! >> Ha ha ha, I love it. Ready when you are.
CustomScoobyIOM Posted February 24, 2004 Author Posted February 24, 2004 PMSL!! Tarts I love starting a debate!
Cret Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Hope you're ready to put your money where your tailpipe is, foo'!
Boxer23 Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Hope you're ready to stick your head where the WRX tailpipe is. POP a load of this, sucka!!
Cret Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Hee hee. All in good time amigo, all in good time. Even as I speak, my team of crack umpa lumpas are devising plans for a new pipe that emits sonic booms on engine overrun!
Boxer23 Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 Even at tick-over my little toy sounds like a rumble from the belly of Mount Versuvius. And as for the BOV......... blows off more forced air than Nick Teare on curry night.
CustomScoobyIOM Posted February 25, 2004 Author Posted February 25, 2004 << Hope you're ready to stick your head where the WRX tailpipe is. >> ROFLMAO!! Love the curry Nick comment!!!! PMSL!!! I need a drink Jim, the car pops LOUDER than a 12 bore shotgun. It is soooooo funny!! And it flames!! Without a flamer kit
Boxer23 Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Yep, some guy in a bronze Nissan 350Z was following me too closely down Richmond Hill last night but soon slammed on the brakes when a couple of flame blasts shot out at him!
heazille Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Bronze 350. that was probably Peter Duke having a close look, especialy as his 22b is nearly always parked at south coast
Boxer23 Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Could have been. Scorched his front bumper for looking too closely! Lol Be warned!
Cret Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Excellent stuff! Flames are good. You could grill a cheeseburger behind that matey! I was having a run along the prom last night and this cruddy looking dark nova kept going up & down the prom issuing loud bangs every couple of hundred yards. I truly hope it wasn't a flame kit on it as it looked totally bog standard & renty!
CustomScoobyIOM Posted February 25, 2004 Author Posted February 25, 2004 Neil, Frankie, we know whos this Nova is dont we Ha Ha Ha!!!! Flames are good
Cret Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 What you mean you associate with flame spitting nova people?! Yay! New Cambelt idler on its way now, plus the bloke at Grade A reckons he's encountered a good few scoobs where the belt has slipped/snapped & not caused carnage. I'm going to try not to get my hopes up though as that would be asking for disappointment!
Boxer23 Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Fingers crossed for you, mate. No, Jim, we certainly DON'T associate with Novas!!
