scooby-22 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Hey everyone. I'm a returning menber, been awol for 6 months as I had to sell the scoob, bought a renaultsport clio 172 in the meantime, but a combination of missing my scoob and the prices of them plummiting has brought me to the decision of getting another one! Good choice
Guest sti3_lewak Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 was a ok but a tad disappointed not to get on rollers but lyk dave i didn't really fancy waiting around for hours on end with nothing to do. Was a bit chav'y with not alot actually going on :-(i believe Mr Ed got 266.6 but could be something wrong with the exhaust. My missus said yeah it's too bloody loud lol there was mention of sidc doin a day there early nxt year. Something which i think would be a great idea. I left him for dust on the way up so dam...... was that at the wheels are flywheel????? Take it your car is still running Pezzo????.. or DON'T YOU HAVE TIME

matt78 Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Looked at a scoob today people, but was not as nice as it looked in the photos, and he was not too honest with the desription...the whole rear bumper was bubbled up, but in the advert it said 'small scrape on rear bumper, not worth taking a photo off.... Also needed new DS headlight (water inside) drivers doorcard where you can lean your elbow was collapsed, and all alloys slightly bubbled and curbed. Was up for £3200, may have it off him if he lowers the price by £500. Doh!!!

pezza_no1 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Matt glad to see ur coming bk to scooby ownership, just take your time as there's loads of motors out there at really decent prices so don't do what I did and just go buy the first one you see. I'm sure for that sort of money you should be able to find a near mint one. Dave boost controller ordered today, 3 port should be not far behind and then we shall see..... Considering you were running basically double the amount of boost I was then I think to get that on a even level you should be scared boy! Lol

pezza_no1 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 lol yeah don't i know it. I was desperate for a scooby and really wanted a type r but thought for a year i'd get a cheap one to see me through until i had enough to get a 'decent' one. Saw mine on ebay at a cheap price, got it and have had nothing but trouble with it. So much for a cheap motor for a year. And all because i rushed in and got the first one that caught my eye lesson firmly learnt the hard way!
