Ahhhh, I thought it would have been where the Auctioneers are based not the company. My mistake.

They hold monthly auctions in hillington. My mate used to keep us informed of anything interesting.

I know Marc and Duncan are going up to look at the White WRX RA :D

Carl is looking at buying stuff as well but I don't know what............

Otherwise it looks a little quiet doesn't it.

Wish I was home as I'd be raiding the piggybank right now to see if the are any spares "coffers" I could use. :o

Sure am, will make a nice little project car ;)

Wow these cars are going cheap! Pat would of been selling the nicer ones for 10k+ I might even bid on one ;) Don't tell the wife....

It's a pity the orange skyline engine is out - it's an ex drift motor I recall. That beast had two massive turbos and was running something like 700bhp+ at 2 bar according to Pat.

I've had eyes on most of these cars in the showroom and they are in good nick externally. The WRX ones were all prepped last time I was up and looked very nice and shiny.

Someone is going to get some bargains there.

if business wasnt so good maybe the remaining stock wasnt up to his usual standards, just a thought. will be along for a rake on wednesday

Sure does, type R by the looks of it and the arches look rather wide. No engine though, drop in a 2.5

Just correcting my initial thoughts on the black car on the ramp.

Its not a type R.

Posted
It had wide arches yes.

Might have been an STi at one point

Any idea on what is in the glass cabinet, or how much was on the shelving, or if the engines are going to be supplied with the 2 project cars?

So may questions, so little time!

Black STi on the ramp sounds good though, just spoke to someone who used to own the car b4 trading it into Pat - Definitely an STi 4-door.

A m8 just went to look at it as he's looking fo ra trackday car and from what little he could see of the car (on ramps still) it had:

Front mount

MONSTER Rotated Turbo/Downpipe EWG/screamer pipe,

AP'S

AVCR

race seats,

Power FC

wide arch kit

Carbon bonnet...............

Great track car or Sprint car for someone there considering the cost.

Chuck in a 2.5 or 2.35 and your ready to rumble. Did hear through the grapevine that Auctioneers say the original engine WILL be supplied with the car (Spun a bearing I think). Even less to fork out.

The project cars come with their respective engine & parts for the project.

Skyline engine was sprawled across a table in bits in need of repair + the gearbox + HUGE turbo etc.

Scooby had no engine in it as stated. There was an engine lying elsewhere which i thought was for that car. Obviously had something wrong with it in the first place to have been removed, no idea if repairs had been carried out. Shoddy paint work & rusty as hell underneath the car. Big turbo on it though, FMIC, oil cooler, carbon fibre bonnet.

Yep, there was The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.

The Good were outnumbered though!

Just too many things different (some minor, some major) on various cars that didnt add up to original cars or even what some were claimed to be!

Bear in mind as well that the initial page for the sale mentions "A Buyers Premium of 10% will apply to all lots sold" which could add on a wee bit once you are into the 1000's IYKWIM.

So other than the black one, which is rusty underneath and needs an engine/work done, the rest of them are well dodgy looking/sounding then?

*cough* theres rusty and theres never ending work keeping on top of it. wouldnt let you fire them up. oil looked better in my tractor than in a few and he must have had a thing for overfilling.

So by Good/Bad/Ugly you all really meant that you guys looking were the good and the rest of the stock made up the remainder of that statement

Yep, pretty much. One Impreza was equipped with Nos which didnt look safe to be honest.

The early M reg one at the front (lot 8) didnt seem to bad, but I wasnt as"eagle eyed" as others.

I had my eye on the Legacy TBH, but looking again, the clocks/dials etc. had STI logos on them, is that right?

As for the other cars, no idea on them. The Celica (although pretty ordinary) looked ok, but puddles of various oils underneath (engine/gearbox) put me off that.

And a few automatics which is just a no no for me. The Honda Acura looked ok, but again dont really know much about them.

Didnt realise actually how physically big a Supra is though!

i dindnt look at anything non subaru. for those bidding on alloys on stand there was second storage unit that only a few of us got into while the boy was taking photos. i expect these lots to change as alloys to complete the sets were there. i can believe what stephen was saying earlier. there are claims from creditors and they havent sorted that out yet.

Yep, seemingly owes Dingbro a fair few bob!

The likes of them and even Subaru themselves have up to the morn to put their repossesion claims in but have to provide evidence but so far no major claims put in from them.
